Our Vision

Leadership to Meet the Moment

We have a vision for a strong and united Democratic Party that inspires, engages, and includes everyone. In order to fully expand our electorate and to secure wins in this new era, Democrats must build a party that voters trust and feel proud to support. We must never confuse votes against Republicans as votes for Democrats — instead, we must increase confidence in our party so that we can win big, again and again.

In order to meet this moment, we must listen, embrace fresh perspectives, recruit and support dedicated, hard-working public servants who share our values, and deeply invest in what our communities truly need.

Collaboration and Community

MCDC can be a model organization for the country — collaborating with community organizations, activists, and badasses of all types — to collectively fight for people, to stand in solidarity with all of our communities, and to ensure that our committees and our elected officials truly reflect the beautiful diversity of Montgomery County.
